Access Statement

The Tamborine Mountain Show Grounds are a mix of grassed areas and bitumen roads. The main Pavilion has an access ramp on one side of it. The outdoor seating is wheelchair friendly. The land slopes to a higher point at the back of the grounds. The Disability Access Toilet is located at the back of the Pavilion.

There is disability parking available to all cars displaying a current Disability Parking sticker. Entry is via the back gate in Normandy Court.

Should you need assistance, we are happy to do what we can. The volunteers have access to a Golf Buggy, and, other issues permitting, we are happy to transport people within the Grounds.

Should you wish to organise a day trip from your facility, please email the organisers on admin@tamborinemountainshowgrounds.com, as bus access to the grounds is limited.

Please be aware that the grounds are old, and there are trip hazards in the form of tree roots, and other obstacles. Whilst we work to keep the areas as clear as possible, it is a treed environment with the all the hazards of such environments. We do not have a quiet room, however, there are parts of the grounds that are accessible if you need to take a moment out.

Please plan your day and let us know if we can help in any way.
