Food Vendors at the Markets

To become one of our Food Vendors at the Tamborine Mountain Country Markets, compliance with local Council Food Regulations is expected.  The Tamborine Mountain Country Markets fall within the Scenic Rim Council region, and are therefore governed by this Council.  Please link to the Scenic Rim Council Food Regulations for application forms. Appropriate Licensing is the responsibility of the individual stall holders.

Copies of all licenses must be supplied with your application form.

The Tamborine Mountain Show Grounds has an outdated electrical infrastructure, and therefore we have limited electrical outlets.  This governs the number of powered food stalls we can have at any one time.  If you are refused admittance, this is why.  Occasionally, a space becomes free, and is made available on a first come first served basis.

Food Vendors are reminded that the power outlets are 15 amp.  DO NOT overload these points with power boards and multiple appliances.  Old appliances pull more power, and multiple appliances easily overload the switches, and blow the fuses.

These regulations cover the sale of ALL food made in any kitchen other than a commercial grade kitchen. Please ensure that your food is covered, or appropriately packaged, and sneeze guards are in place where appropriate.

ALL power cords and appliances MUST be Tested and Tagged.  These will be inspected randomly.

Deep fryers are not to be used.
