QCAS Competitions

The Dark Rich Fruit Cake Competition could take you all the way to the EKKA! Winning at the Tamborine Mountain Show means you are eligible to represent the Tamborine Mountain Show and compete at the Sub-chamber Competition in 2024. The winner of the Sub-chamber competition then competes at the EKKA. The Tamborine Mountain Show has had one winner go on to win the blue at the EKKA.

Please note

The cake for the Tamborine Mountain Show is to be baked in an 8″ square tin.

Whilst you are welcome to use your own recipe, please ensure it meets the guidelines for entry.

The Tamborine Mountain Show Dark Rich Fruit Cake Competition has a separate Entry Form to the general Pavilion Entry Form that must be completed.

Entrants must also complete the Sub Chamber entry form and submit this at the same time as their DRFC Entry.

Entries can be submitted to the Office by 9:45 am on the morning of the Show.

Entry to the Show is free for the Entrant only, on presentation of your DRFC Entry Form.

REMEMBER! A good fruit cake needs at least a month to ripen!
