The Tamborine Mountain Country Markets, 13th September, 2020

Many of you have been wondering when the Tamborine Mountain Country Markets will be back, and what restrictions will be in place.

After consultations with Public Health, the office of Jon Krause, our resident microbiologist, and the totally awesome Coordinator of the Tamborine Mountain State School Markets, we now have a date and a plan.

We will be back on 13th September, with a few modifications.

We will not be accepting new Casual applications – we need to free up some space in our most crowded area, and this is the only way we can do it.

All stall holders are required to register before the Market, and return the registration form to us. This includes Casual stall holders who have already been invited to the Markets. This gives us an up to date contact list – just in case. The registration form can be found here Market Stall Application - FOOD and on our Website.

Please set your stall up in one of the suggested configurations in our COVID-19 Plan (attached below) and have a bottle of hand sanitiser on your stall.

All stall holders can enter through the front gates.

The side gates will remain closed.

There will be hand sanitising stations around the Markets.

We will have designated one way entry and exit points for our visitors.

The toilets will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.

There will be extra volunteers around on the day.

We want to keep you and all our visitors safe, and by working together, we can do this. Please be patient on the day, be kind, and understand that this is a new situation for most of us, and we are all finding our way.

We acknowledge that these restrictions may have eased by September – if so, the Plan will be reissued. We also acknowledge that if there is another outbreak, and if directed by the authorities, we will cancel the Markets.

So fingers crossed, and lets make September a fantastic Market Month!
